Unfortunately it looks like I will not be able to be a surrogate again any time soon!   My insurance is still dealing with Circle Surrogacy and unfortunately the insurance said that they WILL NOT cover another surrogacy.  It is totally not fair since the policy DOES NOT have a surrogacy exclusion.  I am hopeing to still find someone even though it will be much more difficult.  Since an agency will not work with me without insurance I am thinking of going independant!  I am hopeing to carry for someone who is only seeking to have one embryo impanted.  I would love to find a couple that is open to a homebirth so I can be under the care of a mifwife for my next surrogacy!  It will be most cost effective for all parties involved!  I know the right people are out there, now I am just waiting to find them!

I guess I should Update since the twins were born one day after I posted those last pictures!  My surro twins were born April 17, 2009 by c-section.  My potassium had became critically low and they had to be delivered quickly.  They came out healthy  weighing almost 5 pounds each!  Matt and S were in the room and G waited patiently outside.   They stayed in the NICU for a few weeks and then left to go home on June 8th.  My original due date with them, LOL!  They will be 4 months old tomorrow and are so adorable! 

I currently am in the process of begining my next surrogate journey.  I am hopeing for anoter set of IPs that are as awesome as S and G!  It will be hard to find people as great as they were!

I will be using a different agency than I used last time.  I was not thrilled with the communication that I got form the folks at circle surrogacy.  I have found a wonderful new agency and could not be happier to be using them for this journey.  I am using Agency4 solutions this time.  They have been great.  This time around we will be using a private insurance policy since my insurance and circle have had some misunderstandings with each other and we are still waiting for medical bills to be paid!  Once the insurance gets squared away we will begin the match process!

It seems like jsut yesterday we were calling S and G for the first time!  I remember being so nervous that they wouldnt like me, LOL!

Hopefully this afternoon the boys are going to finger paint my belly!!!  I guess it all depends on how my OB appoinment goes!!  Will update later!

I was diagnosed with Pre-Eclampsia today!  My protien level was 501 which is very high   I am on bedrest for the duration of the pregnancy and have to stay flat!  Cannot even sit upright!!!  My BP’s havent been THAT high so we are watching it carefully!

It is way harder than you think to take pictures of yourself using a tripod!!!  I need practice, HAHA!!

Okay so they tested my potassium b/c of all of my symptoms and it is crtitically low.  for being preggers it should be between 3.5-5.0 mine is a 2.0

The lab called the doctor since it was so low they didnt want to wait to heave it faxed to her!  EEK! 

she said that it is so low that all the bananas and OJ in the world wont even help at this point I HAVE to get the meds in me.

So my symptoms are each and every symptom in the list of symptoms for low potassium!  GO FIGURE!!!  My heart is racing, i am numb and tingely AGAIN!!!!  My mouth is SUPER dry even though I cannot stop drinking.  I am super weak!  The boys spent the night with my parents in case I have to go to the ER in the middle of the night, But lets hope that doesnt happen!

At this point my doctors biggest concerns are kidney failure and developing an issue with my heart so that is why the rush is so importnant she says
She said she has only had one other pregnant women this happen to and her level was only a 2.8 so she is VERY concerned at this point, and wants me to call her with ANYTHING!!

I feel much better today!  Still weak and jittery but not near as bad as I was was the past two days!  I am just laying in bed and taking it easy.  That is all i can do for now, so that these boys can bake a bit longer!!

So Last night I had a reaction to the steroid shot and Matt had to go buy me benadryl at 2am in the morning!!!!!

I didnt sleep until 6 am this morning and had to wake up at 11 to go to the doc.  I went to the doc and got my second steroid injection, bloodwork drawn to check everything, did a urinalysis (high protien again) got checked.  Yesterday I was a tight two and today she was wavering back and forth on a VERY loose 2 to tight 3cm.  so my contractions are progressing things.  She can feel what she REALLY thinks is a head so if I go into labor we will do a quick U/S to make sure but are still on for vaginal birth. 

I am deyhrated even though I am drinking around the clock, my potassium level is low as is my iron.  so we are working on that.  I am doing a 24 hour urine collection to better asses the protein levels.  I am only allowed up to pee, no showering if i can help from it!  GROSS!!
 I am back to taking TERB and it is know scheduled every 5 hours even while sleeping, and also taking the benadryl so I am pretty loopy!

Good News is at the last U/S they were both over 4lbs. so they are well sized and their lungs will be better now that they got the steroid injections!

So I am 2cm dialated I contracted 4 strong contractions in 20 mins. of being hooked up to the NST!  I got a shot to mature their lungs for early delivery.  Had protien in my urine but BP was 124/64.  Measurring 45 weeks

I have to go back tomorrow to check for more dilation and to do another NST and to get another steroid shot.  If I have dialted more I am off to the hospital for IV drugs to stop the contractions.

I am back to VERY STRICT bedrest!  up to pee and shower!

Oh and yeah on the way home from the OB my tired started making super wierd noise, so i stopped and had firestone look at it….well my quote for 1,9994 later I am now home driving 30 mph the whole way (at regular speed it takes me 30 mintues) so that my dad can fix it for a whopping $200 dollars
